James Thurston
Founder and General Director
Jim has
been in the full-time ministry since 1963 and has worked as a missionary
in Chile since 1966. Jim graduated
from Seattle Pacific University with a BA in education and an emphasis in communication.
After teaching in the Seattle public schools, he enrolled and graduated from the
International Christian Graduate University School of Theology.
Before going to Chile he
attended the Mexican Cultural Language Institute. In 1977, he attended the Catholic
University in Santiago, Chile where he studied television direction, production, camera,
TV broadcasting and lighting. While on furlough, he attended the Bellingham Vocational
Technical Institute studying advanced supervision and management and video production for
business and education.
He also attended Whatcom Community College and Western Washington
University where he studied introduction to business, computing, small business management
and The Joy of Writing.
In 1997, with his son Steve,
he started an internet ministry to the world and created integridad.com . At
the moment the web site is the largest Spanish Christian site in the
world with millions of hits each month.
He has received a number of honors:
In July 2000, he was chosen once again as a Chilean delegate to the
Billy Graham Congress on evangelism, Amstersdam 2000, in Holland. In 1991, he was chosen as a
Chilean delegate to ICMC International Christian Communications Conference in Sheffield,
England. In 1988-89 he was appointed National director of evangelism for 140 churches in
Chile. In 1986, he was chosen as a Chilean delegate to Billy Graham Congress in Amsterdam,
Holland. Since 1982 he has been the president of a beach community in Chile. He is the
founder and president of the radio club for English speaking people in Santiago. From
1981-1984 he was the President of the Santiago Missionary club. For four years he was the
National Sunday school director for 130 churches. He has received two special awards; In
1974 he was given special recognition by the Chilean government and in 1971 he received
the Outstanding Young American award. Jim's hobbies are ham radio
and computers.
Lina Thurston
Public Relations, Graphic Designer
and Mail Order Accountant
Lina is
an active Bible teacher and is also actively involved in a world-wide women's movement dedicated to prayer and evangelizing. She graduated from The
University of Santiago and received a post graduate degree from ISUM International.
Paul Thurston
Producer, Videographer, Editor
Paul is
one of the producers at Studio JTV. After graduating from Messiah College with a BA in
Radio, TV and Film, he quickly joined the ranks at Studio JTV to infuse human factors into
technical videos. As well as being a producer Paul is the designer, programmer and
Webmaster for Studio JTV's World Wide Web site. Paul is also a film maker, screenwriter,

Steve Thurston
President and Production Director
Integridad.com: Spanish Christian Internet
Steve
was one of the producers at Studio JTV. He produced our most popular video on Satanic Rock
Music, "Carretera al Infierno." He also worked at the 1996 Centennial Olympic
Games in Atlanta, Georgia. There he worked for CBC Sports (Canadian Broadcasting
Corporation) as a camera operator and video logger. After
graduating from Messiah College with a BA in Radio, TV and Film, he
joined the staff of LSAC, a non profit organization that gives the
entrance test for all the law schools in the USA and Canada, and is
their Web Master.
He
is the president of Integridad.com and runs all
operations for this Spanish Christian community on the Internet.
Mary
Jane Thurston
Music Assistant
Mary
Jane is an occasional music programmer for Studio JTV productions. She has also acted and
participated in various video and television productions such as Chile's first channel to
offer non-violent programming for children, "RC Sports" program at the Rainbow
Club station where she co-anchored.
Paola Delucchi
Cameraman
and photographer
Paola just completed her
internship at Studio JTV. One of her strengths is photography.
Se has completed studies in photography, video cameras, publicity and
is now finishing up theology. She studies in Centro de Estudios
Teológicos, (Center for Theological Studies) and is preparing to be a
missionary. She is Peruvian and has lived in Chile nearly 12
years. Paola loves to listen to music and sing.
Elias Canales
Intern
Elias is a second generation intern. His father Enrique was one of
our first interns when the studio JTV was founded in 1977. Apart from
his internship, Elias is studying Tourism in
Santiago.
He likes to read books, listen to music and work in the local church
where his father is the pastor.
David
Miranda Campos
Director, Videographer, and Editor
David
started as an intern at Studio JTV. His forte is editing and videography. He studied Television,
Screen Direction and Video Production and graduated from PROCOM, in Santiago, in 1991. He
spends much of his time editing. He is now one of our freelancers.
He also works for Television National of Chile. Aside from this, David has a ministry with youth. He also
attended Bible school in order to have the necessary tools for this work. David enjoys
playing the piano, listening to Jazz Fusion music and loves his country.
Rosa
Silva Valdebenito
Videographer and Assistant Director
Rosita,
a freelancer at Studio JTV, has much experience with cameras and editing. She has also
designed some of the Studio JTV video packaging. Aside from this, Rosita is studying
Business Administration and Economics. Soon she plans to start her own company. Rosita
also loves classical music and plays the French Horn.
